Rangers 09

As some of you may know, I am a huge Texas Ranger fan. I have been keeping up with what they have been doing during the off season and Spring Training and I am hopeful for the first time since I have been following the team full time. The Rangers have the number one ranked minor league system in all of baseball and they have a plethora of young talent at the major league level. If they can just get 3 of the 5 starters to have a good season, I believe they can be a playoff team this season. Alot of people probably think I am crazy, and I might be, but I believe that it can happen this season. The Rangers under team president Nolan Ryan have a new philosophy in which they are actually going to make their pitchers pitch. I will probably do a few posts over the next few weeks about the Rangers, so, if you hate baseball, sorry.
