I tried to think of a effective, scientific way to approach thinking about and eventually picking who I believe will win the Superbowl. I know that the Cardinals are the favorite because they score a lot of points during a game, but what did the Eagles almost do to them. The Cardinals defense allowed the Eagles to come back and take the lead in the 4th qua
rter. Of course, they trounced the Panthers, but any team (except maybe the Cowboys) could trounce a team that spotted them six turnovers. While their offense is very good, I believe that the Steelers defense is better. They have been nothing short of amazing this season. One of the Steelers main problems, in my humble opinion, is that they are kind of like the San Antonio Spurs in basketball, that is, boring. In this fast pace society, nobody wants to see the defensive team win it all. I also believe that the majority of the country will be rooting for the Cardinals because it is the first time they made it to the Superbowl, but is that really a reason to root for
a team? I don't think so. You also can't overlook the fact that Omar Epps/Mike Tomlin is only the third coach in Steelers franchise history and that he is the first black one.
I don't think that makes much of a difference, but I thought I should throw it in there in case I have some readers that might be offended if I don't mention that. And finally, since you made it all the way to the end of this post, I will give you my pick.
